Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Giselle was a very good host or property manager. The studio I was in was nice, comfortable, and the location was one block from the main road in Puerto Jimenez. It had a nice working air-conditioner, a kitchenette, and a nice bathroom. It also has a dining/working table with chairs and a comfortable futon/couch.

Negative: I would have given Anluka Estudio a perfect rating of 10 except for the following issues: 1) There was a woman (not Giselle) who kept entering my studio unannounced when I was away from the property. She did this twice and I caught her with my video camera inside the room. She didn't touch anything and simply looked at the studio then left. This is an invasion of privacy and I don't appreciate it. Hosts should never enter a rented place without proper authorization from the guest. 2) The bathroom has a window opening without cover. It is high above the shower head but anyone can quickly snap a picture of a person showering with a cellphone. Also, mosquitos were entering through this window. Plus, it was letting the cold air out. I told the host about the window but no one ever came out to fix the issue.
