Positive: We learned about Ronald and Charlene’s Gîte from a blogger, and she was absolutely right. We stayed in the Carignan (not the B&B), and it was excellent. The space was beautifully designed, with two floors—one bedroom and bath upstairs, and another bedroom with a double-sink bathroom downstairs—ideal for two couples or a family. The kitchen was fully equipped, even stocked with coffee, and the living area was comfortable and well maintained. There are outdoor seating areas in both the front and back, and a private pool (not heated) that would be perfect in warmer weather. Laundry facilities are free and conveniently located outside. Ronald and Charlene were very friendly, quick to respond via WhatsApp, and their local recommendations for Saint-Rémy were spot-on. Don’t miss their olive oil and bath products—they’re exceptional.
