Olhão is a traditional and characterful fishing town in the central region of the Algarve. The town has a beautiful and unique waterfront, a busy harbour and a maze of cobbled back streets within the fishermen’s quarter. Olhão opens out onto the calm waterways and lagoons of the Parque Natural da Ria Formosa, while to the south are the sandbar islands of Armona and Culatra, with their beautiful beaches. The best way to get to know Olhão is to walk around and be amazed along the way. Getting lost in the twisted network of cobbled and wander down to the waterfront is part of the fun. The islands can be visited by the frequent ferries available closed to the market.
Very comfortable and beautifully furnished and decorated, the apartment sleeps 5 people (maximum 4 adults + 1 child), has a fully fitted and equipped kitchen and a very spacious and bright living / dining area which opens onto a covered terrace with dining table and chairs for six. Here is the perfect place for you to relax and savour great meals alfresco.
The master bedroom features a very comfortable king-size bed and en-suite bathroom and has a sliding door that leads to a small bedroom with a small sofa that turns into o small single bed - suitable for 1 child. The second bedroom is fitted with two single beds and a second bathroom is located in the hall. There is also a guest bathroom with WC facilities by the entrance hall.
With an eastward orientation, the apartment offers a balcony with great morning sun exposure and a nice overview of Olhão’s typical cubist architecture. It is ideal for year-round occupation.
Bed linen and bath towels are provided, as well as International TV channels and free wifi.
It is equipped with air conditioning for hot summer days and heating for cool winter evenings.
The apartment is on the fourth floor and is accessible by elevator or by stairs.
The best way to get to this accommodation from Faro Airport is by taxi. Privilege Homes can arrange a private transfer for our guests. If guests prefer to drive, they will be given the directions and coordinates prior to their arrival.
Parking is available inside the Village Marina complex, in front of the apartment’s block entrance. However, because of this property’s central location, a car is not necessary for an enjoyable stay.
Guests will be met at the property; our local manager will hand keys and all necessary information. Please inform Privilege Homes of your expected arrival time in advance. For check-ins after 8pm a surcharge is applicable (please confirm our additional services).
