Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Spent a week over Christmas in this cottage. It was cosy and comfortable and we were able to create a lovely Christmas dinner in the kitchen-dining-living area which was large enough for the whole family. Afterwards we took a long walk along the river bank - so quiet and peaceful. The cottage was warm and provided all we needed. Easy parking right outside the door.

Negative: Ensuite shower was not working which initially was a problem - however the host was good enough to find parts and get it fixed on Christmas Eve, which was a great effort.

Summary: Comfortable, cosy cottage in a quiet rural environment.
