The Great Flat Lode mining trail which is also a cycle trail can be joined nearby and offers some stunning views of both coastlines as well as being home to a multitude of old mining Engine houses. If itโs coastal scenery youโre after, you can pick up the South-West coast path at any point around the Cornish coastline, it offers breath-taking scenery, from rugged coves like Godrevy point with its resident seal colony, to quaint seaside villages and harbours dotted along the dramatic coastline.
There are also several excellent cycle trails including the coast-to-coast trail from Portreath to Devoran as well as the well-known Camel Trail which runs from Padstow to Wadebridge and on to Bodmin.
