Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: It's a home more than a literal hostel, which felt charming as it's been beautifully furnished throughout. For breakfast I had mostly bread, jam and tea - there were other things available such as chocolate croissants which were nice. The family are warm and fun to talk with, which puts you at ease. The room fan was also a big help as Malta was very hot in July. Thankfully the single room I was in stayed cooler than the rest of the upper floor.
Negative: The flow of water from the shower head was a bit weak. Also, the guests next door to me were a bit loud coming in late after long nights out, but that wasn't the host's fault.
Summary: A short but meaningful stay with a friendly family by the sea
