Beautiful, cozy, 50's style cottage w/large veranda and a short 3 minute walk to the warm sandy beach of Osoyoos Lake. Located at Veranda Beach Resort a quiet, safe, family-friendly environment full of activities for lasting memories. Sleeps 12- including 3 private bedrooms. 1 master with shower, 1 guest with full main floor bathroom and loft upstairs with private bathroom, 2 queen beds and 2 sets of bunk beds. PET FRIENDLY (fenced yard). Full kitchen, outdoor bbq, linens, washer, dryer, netflix, internet, large veranda & so much more.
Perfect for one, two or three families or as a beautiful get-away with just you and the one you love.
The space
What we love about our cottage is that it is so much more than staying at a standard hotel. You can keep busy or just relax and enjoy the view. During the day there's a community pool, hot tub, beach, swimming, volleyball court, children's play area, marina (boat slip rental available), hiking, gym, 50's restaurant/diner, store, movies under the stars & s'more nights for the kids. In the evenings enjoy dinner on the large veranda playing games, watching Netflix, activities and visiting with family and friends. Veranda Beach is located only a short, approx. 10 minute drive across the USA border at Osoyoos, BC into Oroville, Washington. It is well worth the drive.
Other activities
Veranda Beach is located just a few minutes from Oroville, Washington where you may choose to go for an evening dinner, do some shopping or go to the grocery store. We highly recommend the short 10-15 minute drive back to Osoyoos, Canada for one of the funnest mini golf & amusement parks we have ever seen.
Guest access
Our family vacation home is located at 107 Shenanigan Lane. We chose this location as has easy access for unloading vehicles from the parking area and is peacefully quiet in the morning and evenings. Only a short 3 minute walk to the beach and community pool/hot tub (typically opens in May, weather permitting), gym, restaurant and store. Boat launch available as well as marina slip rentals (extra charge). Children can skateboard and bike ride on the quiet, narrow streets. This is a privately owned resort with individually owned homes so very quiet, family-friendly environment. The whole family is welcome at our cottage including pets.

We have been asked why we have no reviews or VRBO. We have owned our cottage for 4 years and it has been rented previously through a rental company which is why no testimonials as of yet. We take great pride in our family vacation home and in 2020 we are now renting through VRBO and look forward for you making many memories at our home in Veranda Beach and hope that includes a fair price that we offer and wonderful reviews to come. :)
