Positive: The apartment is comfortable, very clean, and tastefully appointed, as shown in most of the pictures. It was well heated during our winter stay, and we appreciated the welcome gift on arrival. The setting is pleasant, with large windows opening onto the garden, and the place clearly has great potential, especially in summer. We would also like to sincerely thank Audrey and Geneviève, the concierges, who were extremely responsive, helpful, and very kind throughout our stay.
Negative: Finding the apartment on arrival was difficult, as there was no clear signage and the first picture in the listing on booking.com is misleading (it shows a different building than the apartment being rented) and there was no other person around to ask. Although we were informed in advance that access was via a key box, the self check-in process was not comfortable given the difficulty in locating the property and having to call the concierges in order to find the key box. During our stay, we experienced several power outages, including on Christmas Eve, which meant no electricity, heating, or internet for some time. The concierge team was very responsive but it took time to resolve the issue. In addition, there was no hot water in the shower. Although a plumber intervened on 25th December and the management team was again responsive and apologetic, the hot water issue was not fully resolved by the end of our stay. Electricity and hot water are core services, and their repeated disruption significantly affected our comfort. The third sleeping arrangement provided was not suitable for an adult, as it was placed in a very small passage room. We could use a sofa bed in the main room instead but this rearrangement was not meeting our needs to provide a private space to the third adult. As a summary, we would like to say that Abri is a comfortable and nicely appointed apartment with great potential, but our Christmas stay was affected by repeated power outages and unresolved hot water issues, which limited overall comfort. Villa for You apologized for the inconvenience, which we accepted, and we felt it was fair to share this experience for future guests. A final sincere thank you to Audrey and Geneviève for their care and support.
