In what can only be described as one of the Great Ocean Road best kept secrets, Grey River is wonderous for so many reasons. Located one bay south of Kennett River, this quiet cul-de-sac of around 15 homes can be easy passed by without a second glance. For those that reside or holiday here, thatโs just fine. Pristine beaches, rock pools and coastal heath on one side, and rugged Otway ranges on the other are made even more special for the fact they see less people. It truly feels untouched.
Addis Beach House nestles itself in amongst all this beauty. The home, while brand new 2022, is a cosy with two bedroom dwelling flanking a main living zone, galley kitchen featuring gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave and coffee machine facilities and undercover balcony. Warm wood fire and spit system heating/cooling make it a year-round destination. Spectacular, and in many ways โclassicโ Great Ocean Road vistas can be seen from the front bedroom, living & deck area. Surrounds like these are also brimming with wildlife. Koalas, wallabies, exotic birds and amazing sea life are pretty much a given., you might even see a kangaroo in the yard while having breakfast on the balcony.
With Kennett and Wye River stores and Hotel with in10min drive and Apollo Bay only 15 min south there are plenty of commercial options should you decide to brave civilisation.
