Summary: The cottage is cute and clean and kitchen is well stocked. Mattresses are very old, killed our backs. The house is noisy from inside due to very a loud well pump and a heater next to the bedroom and from outside with construction trucks rumbling nearby starting at 7 am. The towels were hidden, like they were not included (?) BTW: The lake is pleasant to the eyes, but swimmers’ itch rash turned to be brutal. The ladies at the Mill house store were really nice and provided healing remedies. They told us that the rule is not to swim in Alden in July due to swimmers itch, other colder places were safe. It would be nice to know this ahead of time.
