Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was great close to pharmacy, and convenient store was near by the apartment.

Negative: I stayed at this apartment in AlUla and initially had a very good impression. The room was clean, newly renovated, and equipped with a kitchenette, which was one of the reasons I chose the property. During my stay, I prepared a simple meal consisting of canned tuna and eggs in the kitchenette provided. Shortly afterward, the owner knocked on my door and informed me that the smell of cooking was spreading around the facility. I accepted that there may have been some inconvenience and was willing to cooperate. However, I felt uncomfortable with the way the issue was communicated to me. Since the apartment includes a kitchenette, guests would reasonably expect to be able to cook basic meals. The food I prepared was not unusual or excessively strong-smelling, so being confronted in this manner was quite embarrassing. In addition, there was no electricity for the entire night, which significantly affected my comfort during the stay. Combined with the way the cooking issue was handled, this left me disappointed with the overall experience and I decided to check out. While the apartment itself was clean and well maintained, I believe the owner's approach toward guests could be more professional and understanding. This version is firm, respectful, and focuses on the facts without sounding emotional or aggressive.
