Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great views of the castle, near to town.
Negative: TV did not work. Light fittings missing with dangerous cut cables hanging from ceiling. Limited old crockery and cutlery. No kettle or toaster. Could be a really nice house but is worn and shabby looking. No Wi-Fi. BBQ was dirty and unusable. Bedding was clean but old. No hangers in cupboards. Only 2 towels for 3 guests. Smelly drainage in bathrooms. Toilet flush broken in main bathroom. It’s as if the house was a a bank repossession and the previous owners removed the fixtures. No advice given by check in person on any house features or checkout instructions. Cold house and only after a long search found the remote heating controller in one of the bedrooms. Such a shame, with a little more effort and some minor repairs this could be a 5star property.
