And whilst this home delivers just that, an eye for interior design puts a fresh spin on the townhouse classic. Only moments from West Hampstead Underground, you can whizz into the city centre, or take a stroll to nearby Belsize Park, whose leafy streets are dotted with attractive Georgian villas, cute cafes, and artisan delis. And if having your own secret garden has given you a taste for the great outdoors, its an easy bus ride or a half-hour stroll to get to the green expanse of beloved Hampstead Heath.
A soft palette awash with light keeps things feeling delightfully fresh — just the kind of place to afford a little repose after adventuring around London. The living room blends classic sophistication with rustic notes...and a few splashes of colour thanks to a few vibrant art pieces. Opening onto the garden behind, exposed brickwork and a glass roof bring the outside inside, so you can enjoy a morning coffee with views of the garden. More charming brickwork and a cosy fireside dining area lend some vintage, cottage-esque style to the kitchen, as does a large, light-filled dining room, where whitewashed interiors and an antique wood-burner furnish the perfect setting for family meals. In summer you can throw open the doors onto the patio for the full al fresco experience, although there's plenty of room for this in the garden too. Crisp tones and old-time charm unite the five comfy bedrooms, one of which features an adorable doll's house with bunk beds (said bed not yet pictured pictured), and our favourite being the top-floor bedroom, nestled picturesquely in the eaves and including a swish ensuite, complete with freestanding bath.

No smoking, pets or parties! This home is set over three floors. The principal bedroom on the top floor features a raised mattress bed on the floor. The garden is split over two levels, with a raised terrace above, and a lawn and patio below. Just be careful on those spiral stairs. A garden this lovely needs a good gardener - and he comes once a fortnight (sometimes more often in the summer months), but can let himself in via the side gate. A housekeeper will also attend once a week, unless requested otherwise. The time and day of this will be confirmed during booking. The garden studio will not be accessible.
