Positive: The location was very convenient for Sliema St Julianโ€™s and a ten minute walk to ferry to Valetta. Very big spacious 3 bedroom apartment in a quiet area with a supermarket around the corner. It is on the 5th floor but there is a elevator. All kitchen utensils provided except wine glasses as mentioned in previous review. All bed linens were new. Booking .com offered a free taxi and he was at Airport to pick us up lovely man booked him for return journey also.
Negative: There is only small balcony with room for standing on. Apartment was not cleaned properly floors in bedrooms had fluff and dust all around and under beds. I stripped bed in en-suite room when I was leaving no mattress protector and mattress was filthy old blood stains on it. There was only a foot towel in one bathroom no hand towels. Communication was difficult I asked 3 days before we were going how we get access to property. I was asked to sent tourist tax โ‚ฌ300 deposit and copies of passport which I did immediately and was told it was a key box but didnโ€™t get code. I had to ask again on day we were travelling. On the 8th day after I returned still had not received my deposit back had to message twice before I got it. The day before we were due to check out we came back and key box was empty we called agent in a panic and were told cleaner was in. They got our check out day wrong but I donโ€™t understand why the cleaner started working with all our belongings there.
