Positive: The apartment itself is clean and well maintained, and check-in was very smooth. The concierge was helpful and communication with the owner was always friendly and respectful. We especially appreciated the regular cleaning and the fresh bed linen and towels provided every few days. There are, however, a few things we wish we had known before booking. The apartment is advertised as 40 m², but the actual usable indoor space feels considerably smaller. The owner explained that the stated size is based on the official developer measurement, which includes the thickness of the interior and exterior walls. The outdoor area also felt smaller and offered less privacy than we expected from the photos. The neighbouring terraces are very close and there is now a fence that was not visible in the photos we saw when booking. It is also worth knowing that the apartment is part of a larger multi-owner residential complex. This means the owner understandably has limited control over the shared areas and the behaviour of other guests. During our stay, rubbish in and around the communal areas was unfortunately not always well managed. Overall, there are definitely positives: the apartment is clean, the service is good and the owner handled our concerns in a friendly and respectful way. However, the actual amount of space, outdoor area and level of privacy were different from the impression we had from the Booking.com listing.
