Positive: I came to Bakers Cottage for just one night, but because of the warm hospitality and the beauty of this place, I decided to stay 05 more days. The garden is filled with luxurious greenery and the peaceful sound of birds, making every morning feel fresh and relaxing. Every morning, monkeys visit the garden, which makes the experience even more special. The sound of the waves reaches the rooms like a soft whisper from the beach. Mother prepares delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts every morning, and you should definitely try the traditional Sri Lankan herbal drink. Guests can also order lunch and dinner from the cottage, all homemade with love by Mother. It’s a perfect chance to taste a variety of authentic Sri Lankan local dishes. They also provide airport shuttle service with a friendly driver, and guests can easily plan their entire Sri Lanka trip with Kasun, the host. One of the most unforgettable experiences was seeing turtles and having the chance to release baby turtles into the sea. It was truly magical and emotional. Finally, don’t miss the Madu River boat safari and the Ayurvedic massage experience. Definitely, I will come back again!
