Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The house is modern, clean, and very comfortable. It is larger than the photos suggest, and the outdoor seating area is nice. The owner is friendly and attentive, and his family helped me settle in. You have privacy in your own house. I was here 10 days in the off season to explore several villages in the southern half of Corfu by car. Petriti is a perfect location for this. Fishing harbor, seafood restaurants, Notos beach and Boukari beaches nearby, it's a beautiful and quiet part of the island.
Negative: Most of the tavernas and restaurants close for the season at the end of October, as is customary in many villages. I could have stayed longer. But blame winter for this.
