Summary: The location was given 4 stars because the house is on a main road. We could hear the traffic and sirens when sitting on the back patio. I wasnt expecting that. However, the house was also a great distance from the Comal River. We were able to walk to and from the tubing locations, which was great. And it was a short drive to Gruene. The house itself was very charming. The entire family loved it. We had multiple generations staying for this trip, so having the 2 bathrooms not be attached to any bedroom was very convenient. We cooked in the kitchen and used the on-sight grill for every meal. The back patio was perfect to hang out on and watch the deer come into the yard. Everyone already agreed to stay in the same house next year.
