Positive: Property was as described We loved sitting on porch in the morning and late afternoon when it got cooler Great to be able to walk a few 100meters and enjoy the beautiful sea which we overlooked Excellent air conditioning which is a must , used the AC a lot but was not charged any extra and my deposit was fully refunded The property manager Gina was excellent and always available
Negative: One of the bedrooms had a very uncomfortable mattress and could not be used by me I would recommend replacing this It’s was very hot for us so we had to stay indoors quite a bit with AC running as there is no through draft , we had to keep doors closed as no fly screens which may be a good idea if feasible but if you like the heat it was quite bearable Unfortunately I got sick with Dengue fever in my third week in Curacoa proven on blood testing when I got back to the USA so I would strongly advise mosquito repellent at all times as this can be a very aggressive disease and certainly kept me in bed for my last week there
