Positive: Staff were friendly, the location to town was good and the continental breakfast was okay. The garden was nice with lots of trees changing colour and many birds to see.

Negative: The room we stayed in didn't look renovated despite a number of reviews indicating the room were being renovated. Room was fairly spacious, bed was quite uncomfortable and hard in the middle with two twin beds having been put together. The walls were paper thin we could hear every other guest and all the pumps and heater fans, people putting their blinds up etc. the bathroom was very old, the shower was a good size despite the shower curtain but the cupboard in the bathroom was in need of a fix as the door wasn't working properly and hung over the draws and there was no fan in the bathroom to dissipate the steam from the shower. The internet connectivity continually dropped out so not what I would consider high speed internet. The carpet in the hallway was tired and in need of replacement and there were lots of cobwebs with dust in them so they had been there for a while.
