Just shy of the Virginia/NC border, this spacious six bedroom home makes for the perfect escape from life and the setting for an amazingly unique experience for the entire family. The unmistakable "untouched" feeling of Carova's sandy beaches is reinforced by the sheer remoteness and dark nights lit by nothing other than the stars. No roads, no streetlights, no horns or sirens - just miles of pristine, rolling coastline.
Upon arriving at Beyond the White Breakers, you will find fresh linens provided and your beds made in preparation for your stay. This well appointed, large 6 bedroom home sports 4 spacious master bedrooms. Since Beyond the White Breakers is pet friendly, we have taken the worry away about where to board man's best friend during your family's week in paradise. One of the most unique qualities of this home is the private boardwalk to the beach and dune-top deck that offers the perfect backdrop for your morning coffee or evening star gazing. (Unfortunately, at this time, the walkway ends in a drop-off due to storm surge; therefore, the closest access to the beach is either Bluefish Lane or Pompany Lane until the stairs can be rebuilt. Guests can still enjoy the dune-top deck!) The large private pool with ample furniture & tiki bar, hot tub on the top deck overlooking the ocean and rec room with ping-pong table and wet-bar are the perfect wind down after a day at the beach.
Equipped with Stainless appliances, this modern, well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare the perfect meal for your family. And if outdoor cooking is preferred, a gas grill is provided for your convenience. Whether you chose to dine in the indoor dining area or perhaps the screened porch, the crystal clear ocean views are unparalleled. Though you are "away from it all" you can still connect with the rest of the world with wifi or by watching one of many flat screen TVs throughout the home.
