Welcome to Fulks Run, Virginia!
We have a beautiful, six acre get-away campsite in the heart of the George Washington National Forest, which means you can hike, hunt, bike, and do anything else the National Forest has to offer. 15- minutes from the Town of Broadway & 25-minutes from the City of Harrisonburg. A PERFECT glamping spot for children or those new to camping who just want to relax while feeling safe, close to nature and in a central location for many nearby activities.
Just south over the mountain is Rawley Springs a place where many go for other outdoor activities including Off-Roading trails for 4x4 Vehicles. A few minutes down the road is the infamous Fulks Run Grocery store home to Turner Hams!
Other nearby attractions include;
Lost River State Park: 20- minutes
Bryce Resort: 30-minutes
Public access to Shenandoah River: 20-minutes
Lake Laura: 30-minutes away
New Market Battlefield: 21-minutes
Luray Caverns: 40-minutes
Massanutten Water Park & Ski Village: 45-minutes
Rawley Springs (For Off-Road Adventures): Less than 30-minutes
UPCOMING: A nearby rail to trail (for cyclists) that will take you from the town of Broadway to Front Royal, an axe throwing location & Distillery (near Broadway).
On your way to the campsite, you can stop at the local Liberty gas station (less than 10 minutes away) and pick up firewood or anything else you might need! Then, you can just drive right up to the campsite and park your vehicle!
We are continuing to build out our own walking trails on the site as well. Our cedar chest inside the tent contains board games and nature books for kids. The site contains almost anything you can think of in case you forgot to pack something! Toiletries, sanitizer, water, coffee, all provided.
Fall asleep to the sound of running water from a nearby creek and enjoy gorgeous views of the mountains on both sides.
