Get cozy in this 1920 craftsman home, lovingly restored in 2017, while maintaining its character and grandeur. This home boasts the perfect arrangement for families and groups. Need more space - book the Casita Feliz in the back! Have an outdoor gathering in the large backyard, or host a dinner party inside. Take a quick drive to the Pearl or downtown or escape to the burbs to check out Sea World or Fiesta Texas. Access to highways makes it easy to get just about anywhere.
This house goes hard on the communal spaces - it was truly built for entertaining. The original built-ins create a cozy embrace as you settle in by the fully-functioning fire place, or enjoy a family meal in the generous dining area. We designed this two chef Nancy Meyers kitchen ourselves and outfitted it with everything you need to call this place home, even if itโs just for the weekend. A private washer dryer is located in the hallway.
The bedrooms are separated for ultimate privacy and the sun room off the primary bedroom is perfect for tag-alongs.
Outdoor spaces include a large backyard with hammock and string lights as well as a front porch that once served as a stage for the neighborhood Porch Fest. The backyard is shared with our Casita Feliz guests. Owner does not live on site.
Things to note:
There is only street parking, you will not be able to park in a driveway.
This is an urban neighborhood and while none of our guest have experienced any crime, please be aware that you may see or hear things you might not experience in the burbs.
Our neighbors have dogs who may bark at you or your dogs through the chain link fence. They are very sweet and love treats.
