Positive: Comfortable place to stay in a charming little village, with a warm and welcoming feel from the moment we arrived. What makes it even more special is the lovely story behind how it came to be, which gives the place a lot of character. It has a real family feel and genuinely feels like a home away from home. We loved the resident animals, who added even more charm. There was also plenty to do, with board games, table tennis and yoga available — great for relaxing & having fun. The surrounding area is beautiful, with lots of scenic hiking trails to explore. There are also some lovely beaches nearby, especially if you have a car or other wheels. Overall, it was a peaceful, welcoming and memorable place to stay, and we’d happily come back.
Negative: You benefit from having your own wheels here. We didn’t. We managed to have a magical stay anyway but we were are at the mercy of the Gods and Uber & some really lovely strangers.
