Positive: The home was beautifully decorated with regional charm that perfectly reflected the spirit of Taos. Stunning sunset views, enjoyed the hot tub, and appreciated the comfortable beds. Grounds were also beautifully landscaped.

Negative: While the property had a lot of charm and regional character, there were several issues that significantly impacted our stay. The biggest concern was the lack of AC — even after following the provided instructions for managing the windows and airflow, the home never cooled below 80 degrees, making it extremely uncomfortable, especially for sleeping. We were also unable to access the casita, as the key and lock were never located despite multiple attempts and follow-up with Vacasa customer service. The layout of the home was a bit odd as well, with one of the main bedrooms not having an attached bathroom. Additionally, the listing on Booking.com was misleading — it advertised a playground onsite, which does not exist. This was especially disappointing as it influenced our choice of property. Overall, while the home had unique charm and a beautiful setting, these issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our stay.

Summary: Beautiful home; terrible Vacasa experience. Never book w/Booking.com!
