Summary: Pros: PERFECT location steps from the beach; three bedrooms; quirky vintage experience. Cons: as seen in photos and other reviews, this is a well loved well used very old beach cottage. While cosmetic stuff didn’t matter to us (e.g. backyard is dingy w broken toys and grills), some functional problems were annoying (kitchen sink doesn’t drain and we tried cleaning the trap and it didn’t help; one shower, once turned on, wouldn’t turn off). Biggest problem is customer service is very difficult to access, if you need help. We smelled gas for a couple days, so I sent a message through the vrbo app and got no response. I finally had to call Vacasa then had to deal with a bunch of texts while trying to enjoy vacation. Ultimately a tech came to check the gas problem more than 48 hours after I initially reported it (reportedly a pilot had blown out and nothing more but our scheduled checkout was the next day so I don’t know).
