Positive: Good furnishing, all amenities you’d expect, clean-ish and comfortable overall bedsides few issues.
Negative: Cleanliness: while the apartment was clean overall, some bedsheets had stains (there were other bedsheets that we could change to, so that’s fine), the kitchen had a permanent smell of marijuana to it, and the drain in the shower was clogged. Relatively easy to fix and I hope they do. What can’t be fixed easily is the absent soundproofing — it’s nonexistent. At times it felt as if we were living with the neighbors in the same room. And unfortunately neighbors like to fight with constant screaming after 6pm. Location: this is a real problem — the apartment is in the worst (not a figure of speech) part of the city, very unsafe, unsanitary, with homeless, drunk people roaming around, etc. The apartment complex is a free housing for impoverished/refugees with all the drawbacks. Don’t count on walking to metro on foot, unless you are ready to protect yourself from stray dogs, etc. If you rent a car and not planning to spend time in the neighborhood — that’s probably the best. Property management: Host simply failed to check us out and provide the invoice at the specified time, respond to any of our messages/calls, or provide instructions of what’s their expected procedure. We wasted about an hour waiting for anyone and ultimately were let out by a lovely cleaning crew with whom we ultimately left the keys.
Summary: Ok property, but not worth the money. Better look elsewhere.
