Quiet and cozy cottage sleeps 6 comfortably. Within a mile of 20 or more restaurants , 2 shopping centers , only 2 blocks off Hwy. 85 and only 4 miles from town. Kitchen furnished with everything you need to cook a meal if you decide to stay in. There are 2 breweries and Childress Winery in less than 5 miles. In the summer sit outside and enjoy entertainment. Childress Racing Museum is only 10 miles from the winery . A must see for all racing fans.Downtown has lots of cafes and shops and in the summer entertainment with music and good bands. Second Tuesday of every month downtown has a Cruise In with beautiful classic cars from everywhere. Plan to be here in October for the annual BarbecueFestival you’re sure to come back every year. Lexington is famous for their barbecue so don’t forget to visit Lexington Barbecuewhere they serve the best in town. Just across the interstate from there stop in at the Olde Well for drinks and the best Ribeye Sandwich anywhere.
