This pretty detached single storey cottage is set in its own grounds at the end of the Achnacarnin township road on the Stoer Peninsula - one of the most breathtaking beautiful locations on the renowned north west coast of Scotland. With views across the sea to the Assynt Mountains beyond, this cottage has been built to maximise its idyllic location. Whilst it is a modern property, the main living area takes its inspiration from a traditional croft house and byre, with high ceilings and wood burning stove, surrounded by Caithness stone. The Gaelic name translates at The Green House; this alludes not only to the outside paintwork, but also to its eco friendly green credentials - even the heating is extracted from the ground using an innovative ground source heat pump.Shops, pub and restaurant 8 miles
