Welcome to Sebec Lake, one of Maine's hidden gems. Imagine swimming in this incredibly clean lake just twenty feet from the deck while watching the clouds endlessly roll over the distant mountains, or sipping your coffee in the sun room early in the morning watching the sunrise while the call of the loons echo across the water. This is just the place for a relaxing vacation on the water or a space to work remotely while enjoying the beautiful lake and mountain views.
Cozy Camp is a waterfront home designed to allow you to enjoy all that Sebec Lake and the surrounding area offers. Located just ten minutes from town, you can enjoy one of Maine's most picturesque lakes while having the comfort of knowing that you can be at the grocery store, local shops and hospital in just a short drive. If you are into fishing, you are in luck! Sebec Lake has an incredibly healthy population of Lake Trout (Togue) and Landlocked Salmon! Also, the surrounding streams and rivers are abundant with Smallmouth Bass and Brook Trout. While exploring this beautiful area, be sure to watch out for deer and moose, as sightings are common in the dusk and dawn hours.
The house offers four bedrooms, five beds and two full bathrooms to allow for a comfortable stay with your family or friends. The three bedrooms upstairs are all outfitted with desks to work or school remotely while still enjoying the beauty of Sebec Lake. There is one bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor directly across the hall from a full bathroom. The space is ideal for a family vacation or an escape with friends. We do have neighbors who are full time residents and we care deeply about ensuring the area remains quite and peaceful for them. Please plan accordingly.
This gorgeous lakehouse is within an hour drive of some of Maine's most popular attractions such as Moosehead Lake, Baxter State Park, Peaks Kenny State Park, and Big Moose Mountain! Peaks Kenny State Park is a 5 minute drive up the road and Borestone Mountain is a 40 minute drive away for a beautiful hike.
To make the house more family friendly we do provide one Pack 'n Play, a booster seat and a collection of childrens books and some toys for use while staying here.
Guest AccessCozy Camp is a short 10 minute drive from Dover Foxcroft and is loacted down a short dirt road. There is parking for 3 cars right across the street from the home.
There is an inside security camera facing the sunroom. It is recommended that you unplug it during your stay and then replug it in upon checkout. There are two other security cameras on the exterior of the home. One watches the lake and one watches the front of the house/driveway. These exterior cameras will be on during your stay.
