Summary: Possibly the first hostel in Amsterdam I have no complaints about. It is so simple to achieve a 5 star service but many hotel take a mickey, charge and show no care. From the moment you enter Crossroads Hostel, you step into a clean environment with ample space, tables and benches to wait around, free tea and coffee (yes, free tea and coffee) with milk, sugar and cups. Receptionists were all polite and helpful, when I overhead them dealing with other customers. Their bathrooms are the cleanest I've seen around, well stuff with toiletries including T-rolls, showel gel and shampoos, and air freshers all over the building. Left buggage facility available, 24 hour conciege, late check-in and anytime checkout, €10 refundable deposit for the room keys, and I saw them lend someone a padlock to use. And they kindly allowed non-customers to use their reception restrooms. Highly recommended.
