Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: great interior apartment, easy access front and back, free parking and several nice restaurants nearby. Host was close by and always available. Good communication. Hot tub nice feature. Washer and dryer. Host provided wine, juice, water and few snacks. Nice touch.
Negative: This area of Albufeira is really for young party goers. The street nearby is crazy at all hours. Drunk kids and screaming all hours. I would stay away if you want a relaxing beach experience. Stay closer to old town or even Lagos. This area felt like spring break in Mexico or Florida. The property outside area is greta but in need or a major remodel. Furniture was broken, deck was hard to walk on with bare feet and table was falling apart. The house had a odd smell and they were using plug-in air fresheners. Might be it is an older building.
Summary: Great hosts, nice apartment but might not be for everyone
