Munds park is a hop, skip, and a jump from the hustle and bustle. 2 hours or less from just about anywhere in the Phoenix area, yet a world apart. At 6,500 feet elevation, you'll find an enjoyable outdoors wonderland, even in the heat of summer. Munds park is typically 25 degrees cooler than the valley. We also get to enjoy all four seasons up here in the mountains - Beautiful spring blooms, sunny summers with afternoon showers, stunning falls with changing colors, and of course winter snow! Munds Park is a quiet town with a population of less than 1,000! We do have several nice restaurants, a couple bars, and a golf course within walking distance - All with that small town feel.
Oak cabin offers a spacious and comfortable living area, with a beautiful view out of of the front panoramic window. Super comfortable leather couches, and newer mattresses as well. Enjoy the warmth of our faux wood stove while you play board games or snuggle up and watch Netflix with your loved one(s) Go visit Snowbowl, The Grand Canyon, or Sedona for an exciting day trip.
UPDATE SUMMER 2023: Due to several requests, we have upgraded the upstairs AC unit. Munds Park can get warm in the heat of summer, and now you can stay as cool as you'd like while indoors. The Split AC unit cools the entire upper living level quite nicely. Downstairs bedrooms naturally stay much cooler with no AC. Expect bedrooms to be approximately 75 degrees during the warmest summer days.
