Positive: El Loft is in a Stunning location with views to the ocean. There are Beautiful ocean and volcano hikes from the house. Adorable San Juan beach is a 5 min walk . Exceptionally peaceful property with privacy. Large windows with amazing views when weather ( wind) keeps you inside. Very comfortable bed. Super equipped kitchen with views. This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay and we cooked most nights because of this. However, there are plenty of places to eat in Famara and we loved the Lucky Loser Mexican bar / restaurant. There are many restaurants also short drives away from Famara. Famara is a sleepy, surfer vibe town .. we loved it. And yet we were always happy to be back at El Loft . Easy day trips to anywhere on an island with a car. Barbara, our host , was extremely welcoming and was always there if we needed as she lives next door. ( we didn’t need anything) . Despite the very unusual cold, windy rainy weather that Lanzarote has been having for a couple of months , we had an amazing time. Thank you so much Barbara!!
Negative: Nothing. Just to suggest to other people if you are thinking of doing a lot of self catering it is worth shopping at larger supermarkets in Arrecife before arriving as the 3 local supermarkets have very little and no meat or fish .. however only about 25 mins to Arrecife. If needed.
