Incredible location! Beautiful house! Great Host! We LOVED our stay at the Bailey House - ocean views and steps from being on the beach!!! Large kitchen and dining areas. Comfortable beds. Large deck. Good washing machine. The pictures accurately show the house. It was like living the dream! The departure instructions were reasonable. Michael was an excellent host and clearly communicated what we needed to know. We definitely want to stay here again!
The best way to get around St. Augustine is with your own car or in a rental, however, many restaurants and the beach are both within walking distance! Guests can also use rideshare apps like Uber and Lyft or call a taxi with cars available at all times of the day. Once in the city center, many of St. Augustine's shops, restaurants, art galleries and attractions sit within the historic city center, making it easy to get around on foot. The old Town Trolley Tours and a great fun way to see the city with a hop-on, hop-off trolley service that offers stops throughout St. Augustine, with a beach shuttle pickup station right next door at the Marriot (included for free with purchase of trolley admission). The trolley makes 23 stops at or near popular destinations and departs every 15 minutes between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and will set you back around $25 per adult and $10 for kids which includes three days of unlimited rides and complimentary admission to the St. Augustine History Museum.
