Positive: The location was fantastic and the staff were amazing! The food was ok. The staff go above and beyond to help visitors. On the last day I fell ill and the staff helped my husband to make me feel comfortable.
Negative: It wasn’t 5* probably around 3. The rooms aren’t deep cleaned for the arrival of new guests. When we came to the room, the cupboards had marks on. When paying for a 5* you would to expect the standards to be 5* too. The toilet was leaking and had to report it a few times. Someone did come to fix it but it started leaking again. The staff are great however the higher management need to do more to fix issues. The hotel is outdated and a lot of things need to be replaced rather than fixed. The food is repeated a lot and they have the same foods pretty much repeated.
Summary: I wouldn’t return to this hotel for the price I have paid as it definitely isn’t 5*
