Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Close to ferry terminal (15 min) which was the purpose of the stay - to catch the early ferry to Sweden. Also near (8 min) a huge Kaufland for last minute German food shopping. I read lots of negative reviews on here but our stay was good. It was clean, it had a microwave, a good shower and was cool in the basement which was a huge plus at the current heat in Germany. We came here to sleep and eat a simple microwave meal - at half the price of any other place in Rostock plus free parking directly in front of the house, I would stay here again. If you are looking for a fancy weeklong stay in Rostock, this might not be for you, but it never claimed to be. The pull-out sofa was fine for short me, if you are longer than 1.75m and need the third bed, it might be a little tight.

Negative: Two small things. I would have loved a full roll of toilet paper or a mention to bring you own. As it was, we had one in the car, so that was ok in the end, but otherwise that would have necessitated a trip to the shops. I got a little anxious when I only got the key code on the day, a little more communication ("you get the key code on the day") would have eased my mind when I asked about the code earlier in the week. We cut our plans in Hamburg short to make sure we were in Rostock by the latest stipulated check-in time (18:00) just in case which turned out to be unnecessary.
