Large wrap-around porches are a great spot to gather, enjoy ocean breezes and soak up the salt air. The interiors are designer inspired. The expansive living areas and separation of the rooms provide privacy as well as ample room for being together. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and there is additional sitting at the bar. Hardwood floors throughout, ceramic tile baths and built-in cabinets in the living room add to the custom interior design feel. A grill, ceiling fans, and a covered porch are all features popular for Bald Head Island rental homes. Only steps across the street to the ocean, this home has the advantage of marsh views to include Old Baldy as well as the vast Atlantic Ocean. Two primary suites with locations on the first and second floor in the main house are spacious suites. A bonus to parties traveling together, the detached Crofter Cottage includes keurig, mini refrigerator, a full bath, there is an outdoor shower attached to the Crofter Cottage. All primary suites offer king beds. Traveling with children? The home offers a dorm style bedroom with sleeping for six children offering bunk beds with trundles with an additional bed on a window seat couch. An additional guest bedroom has access to an outside porch. The private outdoor shower is an added convenience for washing away the sand before entering the home or jumping on the electric cart to venture out onto the island.
