I like to make beautiful spaces. There is not one specific way for something to be beautiful. When I first got this place, I felt like it was already a beauty, but it was covered up pretending to be something it was not. For many years, people who were here did not respect what it was. So I began to do what I felt the house asked for, which was not to try to be something it is not, but to accept what it is. And what it is is a 500-year-old house that is proud and comfortable with itself. "I am old and I don’t want to change or try to be something I am not. Don’t make me new. Make me real,” the house said to me. So a relationship began. “What do you want?” I would ask, and it told. Sometimes we would fight. Sometimes we laughed. Sometimes it seemed like we would never get along. But we never quit, and we bonded and became friends.
This studio is on the 3rd floor of my 500 year old house. I hand made everything from the floor to the roof, all doors, windows, furniture, kitchen,everything. As you walk through the pictured courtyard and go up the stairs to your private place. You have your own door on the top floor which only you will have the key. The space is private and not shared with anyone. You have your own space,bathroom, and kitchenette consisting of a small fridge, microwave, and single burner stove. You have basic pots and pans for making small quick meals and plates, cups utensils, coffee maker, etc. You are also connected with an outdoor roof top area right outside your door if you choose to use it. The outdoor rooftop has different sitting areas and a fire heat tub that I or any guests I have can use. From the inside of the studio you have a nice and clear view thru the balconies of the rooftop and courtyard. If at any time you choose to leave your floor your welcome to explore the other two floors of my house and enjoy the courtyard or other sitting areas. Your even welcomed to use the large kitchen on the bottom floor if you like.

Sit in the courtyard garden and enjoy your tea or coffee while listening to the trickle of the fountain. Relax in a shady nook and read a book or write a postcard. Enjoy a restful bath with candles and bath salts after a long day exploring the town. Cook a meal in the rustic style, well-equipped kitchen. Take in the beautiful sunshine and orange-blossom-scented air of Sevilla on the rooftop terrace. The room you rent is your own private area, but the whole house is yours to explore and enjoy.
