Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The ryokan is located in the mountains, accessible by taxi or their shuttle bus service. The shuttle arrives before check-in time and is very punctual. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the traditional Japanese in-room meals were superb. We stayed in a room with a private outdoor hot spring bath overlooking the mountains. I also tried the public bath, which was clean, tidy, and offered a scenic view. It was a spectacular experience.

Negative: We liked everything!
