Summary: This very expensive hotel backs up to a road. The restaurant is a separate building down a hill so you take a shuttle or a nighttime walk a deep sloped stair outdoors. There are no services at the hotel for tea or a glass of sake or wine. Only a whiskey bar. They carry no tea except Japanese green tea. If you ask for fruit rather than the menu dessert, they say they have no fruit, It is extremely difficult to communicate with the hotel. When I was trying to confirm the hotel I finally contacted Expedia. Expedia misunderstood a message which made it even more complicated. Calling from the USA does not work and no emails ( I sent 6) were answered. I think it’s just too complicated to deal with them and I recommend finding another hotel. Even our guide said that whether she called them she would get someone who couldn’t find our reservation or was at the main 800 number and knew nothing. There were lots of papers offering us extras but no map explaining how to get to or walk in the surrounding park.
