Positive: The location was amazing - right next to a vineyard in a lovely quiet area of Alsace with just a half hour stroll down through more vineyards to the next village of Bergheim which was very typical of Alsace. The gîte was well equipped and beautifully decorated with old furniture typical of the region. The under floor heating downstairs was a nice surprise. It was a great base for exploring the area - so beautiful in the autumn sunshine. I would definitely recommend and I would certainly go there again.

Negative: Just a minor thing that the lounge, being upstairs, was a little awkward for the dog as the uncarpeted stairs were a little slippy so she got carried up and down!
