Summary: Malahide has been our go to for many years. The cricket ground has been a very special place for us as a family with great memories. We have stayed in lots of places around Malahide, this time we decided to stay in the Grand, 9/10 from checking in on line, self check in when we arrived, no need to go to reception, fantastic idea. Rooms amazing, the only thing, we couldn’t work the coffee machine, it just kept putting water in the cup! Yes we used the coffee pods. We did ask the cleaner to help, obviously he couldn’t help either. So no morning coffee was had. This was disappointing. To add to that it would have been nice to have herbal tea, and normal coffee, with sweetener's, knowing the machine didn’t work. We didn’t eat an evening meal in the hotel but the food looked delicious. Staff around the Hotel and sports centre friendly and welcoming.
