Positive: The property is in a beautiful peaceful location with fantastic facilities (pool, hot tub etc). The lovely garden is a real highlight of this property and lots of thought has clearly been put into designing its layout with plenty of nice spaces to hangout. Just a short drive to the beach. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay (bedding, towels, toilet roll, washing up liquid, laundry detergent etc). Something to be aware of (as mentioned in other reviews) is that the upstairs apartment is not connected to the downstairs apartment internally. This meant our teenage daughter was quite isolated from the rest of the family at bedtime. This felt less than ideal for us parents but our daughter was actually quite happy with the arrangement. It could be an issue if you have you have younger kids though! The room layout wasn’t very clear to us from the Booking.com description but the owners quickly clarified when we contacted them. The upstairs apartment has one room with a double bed and one room with bunk beds. In the downstairs apartment, there is one large double bed and one single bed in a large open plan bedroom area. The owner of the property was very friendly and welcoming. A lock broke during our stay and they quickly came a fixed it while we were out and left some extra games for us (a ball and some badminton rackets). This was really appreciated!
Negative: A minor thing was that the outdoor shower did not work very well as only a trickle of water came out.
