Summary: Recently reopened, it’s very clean and in good shape. Great location for my needs and beautiful, quiet, comfortable room. What shows that it’s been closed for a period of time are the level and quality of service. Restaurant and housekeeping staff are very friendly and earnest although apparently inexperienced. There’s not the same welcoming vibe by the guys at the door and concierge desk that was renowned in years past. Check in was not great as my room wasn’t ready until well after 3pm and then there was some confusion. The food is not up to the standard it was at before it closed and the selection and availability of restaurant hours is reduced. They are clearly trying to get up to speed and we’ll likely give them another go next year.
