Soul Rebel is located right at the Lake in Nkhata bay, a beautiful village in northern Malawi. The village center with access to public transport, shopping, restaurants and bars is just a 5 minutes walk away.
Staying with us, you will be surrounded by nature and gardens, our private beach and stunning lake views.
Our mission is to fill this place with good times, good food and good music. Our focus is to be as environmentally friendly as possible
Our rooms are completely renovated and equipped with everything you might need.
Therefore some of our rooms have solar panels, some of our rooms have compost toilets to save as much water as possible and our greywater is being filtered. Each room has a private bathroom or a shared bathroom nearby and is equipped with fans, lockers, international sockets (with usd) and lights near the bed. The bar and restaurant also have solar panels
We believe in local and seasonal products and try to source as many ingredients as possible from surrounding farmers and the Malawian industry.
Our menu is a mixture of Malawian and international food with specials such as our Tapas hour or our Pizza day
We organize a variety of activities such as trips to special places and beaches in and around Nkatha bay as well as paddle surf, our jam sessions, volleyball and boat trips including snorkelling, cliff jumping and possible sighting of the fish eagle!
We can also organize activities like Scuba diving, long hiking trips and Safaris with our partner companies.

Soul Rebel Lodge & Backpackers Policy and Condition:
Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival.
Standard booking: free cancellation until 48hs before check in day, after we will charge the first night of the reservation.
Non refundable booking: cancellations and modifications will be charged 100% of the amount of the reservation, has to be paid in advance.
No show: we will charge the first night of the reservation if it is a standard booking or the total amount of the reservation if it is a non-refundable booking.

When booking 10 Pax or more, the reservation will be considered as a group reservation and different policies will be apply
Cancellation policy for groups: free cancellation until 30 days before check in day

The hostel is not responsible for lost or damage personal belongings, please use the provided lockers
Swim on the lake at your own risk, there is no lifeguard
Bar closes at 1am, please be quiet at midnight in the room’s areas, balconies, beach and gardens.
