Positive: The character, grounds, and proximity to other things in walking distance: sawmill market and old town.
Negative: There are 2 elevators and one was broken the whole time. Then on one evening, the second one was out of order and we had to walk up 9 flights of stairs. I am glad that I am not disabled or had to carry my luggage. This would’ve been impossible. It was fixed by the morning. Hot tub needed to be skimmed/cleaned.
Summary: Lovely historic hotel that is not a cookie cutter. You get real amenities, a nice pool and grounds.
