Positive: My wife and I stayed at Hotel Bella for 8 nights in late December. Overall, it was a decent stay with some clear 'pros' and 'cons' that future travelers should know about. Location & Transport: This is a strong point of the hotel. The access to public transport is great, with the Metro and three different tram lines very close by. It’s perfect if you want to stay outside the busy city center. It is near a road, but with the windows closed in winter, noise wasn't an issue. Breakfast: A big upside! The included breakfast was well-varied for a 3-star hotel. They offered a great variety, including eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, cereals, salads, and plenty of options for sandwiches. Staff: Contrary to some older reviews, we found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The front desk is manned 24/7, they speak English well, and we had zero issues with service. Comfort: The bed was large and very comfortable, the room was spacious enough for two people, and it was consistently warm during the cold December nights.
Negative: Room Condition: The room is definitely due for renovation. While it was clean on the surface, the carpet had old, deep stains. There was also an occasional sewage smell coming from the bathroom. Bathroom Issues: The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and the radiator in the bathroom would occasionally make a very loud vibrating noise. Amenities: Be aware there is no fridge or microwave in the room In summary, for the price and the quality of the breakfast, it’s a solid choice for a short stay. However, due to the maintenance issues and lack of certain amenities, I probably wouldn’t stay here for a long duration (8 nights). Great for a budget-friendly base to explore Prague!
