Summary: The Hotel Continental was truly an amazing place to stay. Upon arrival, the friendly valet took our rental car off our hands. Stefano at the check-in desk made us feel welcomed and helped us with our Genoa and Portifino trip planning, along with local information and helpful suggestions. The hotel is very close to the train station and ferry so its ideal to not have a car (or just leave it parked at the hotel). Our room was spacious and comfortable. We opted to stay in a room facing the town and it was fine but a bit loud with the motorcycles and trucks in the morning. Next time we will opt for a room facing the water. The dining options were very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet and had an amazing dinner. The bar also had a nice selection and we enjoyed cocktails overlooking the beautiful town and waterfront at sunset. The ladies enjoyed the on-site spa too. Overall, we really appreciate the hotel and the superb staff that made our stay special. We look forward to our next visit!
