Positive: We spent New Year's eve in this property, and few days after. It was much calmer overall then a lot of other places, which was appreciated especially by our dog. It is family run hotel, very family friendly, rooms are well appointed with traditional style. It was also cleaned daily and overall this property is very clean and looked after. Hotel is in the centre of St. Gilgen, 5 mins walk to the lake. Breakfast was lovely. It is like staying at friend's home, you can come to breakfast in your slippers, we enjoyed meeting fellow guests. We will return to enjoy the summer vistas, village and whole lake area are absolutely beautiful.
Negative: There is no restaurant, so dinner options are limited, however hotel notified of this early and offered options to reserve elsewhere, which worked out fine.
